Woodburn Primary School

This is where I went to school in Northern Ireland.  It has grown up since we left but the old stone walls are still there, though no donkeys in the fields.

The famous lamp post.

Mr Wright had a fright
in the middle of the night
saw a ghost eating toast
halfway up the lamp post.

Can you still remember living in Ireland? I never thought of looking up my childhood school this way.

I remember more about Ireland than I do the second half of my childhood/teen years. More so, because it was such an upheaval moving away from family and friends! I was homesick for a very long time.

We moved when I was ten and I have many wonderful memories of living there...I still have family there that I hope to visit in the near future!

I don't remember a lot of Ireland, but I do remember the school. This photo actually feels familiar to me. Thanks for sharing it!
