Ta da...diningroom after many hours, many cans of paint....

I won't even bother to put in details about each picture until tomorrow as it takes long enough to just upload the photos....if you want to see what my diningroom looked like before, check here.

I love this vase...purchased at a yard sale!

This dining set was mahogany...i cringe even saying that...but it was in bad shape and I do love the white!

my $20 vintage china cabinet...see the before here.

my beautiful, most favourite abstract painting by David Hayward .

my $1 fabric...it did all eight chairs.

This was the table I set for special company I was having!

Just threw these in. This dresser is in m kitchen. I have had it since I was a kid!

Thank you, thank you, thank you (for posting those pics after the day you had), and WOW!!!!!!!!!! My jaw literally dropped open when I saw how beautiful your dining room looks!! I mean, I thought it was pretty darn good before, but this is (and I quote) "stunning"!!!!
Let's see, I love the painted chairs and tables of course, the fabric(!!), the curtains look even prettier, the pale blue sideboard looks so swedish modern-country (mission accomplished), your painting is beautiful, really I love it all. I know I am gushing, but I just didn't expect it to look so much more beautiful, because I loved the first round of the makeover. Doesn't painted wood make all the difference?
This room is definitely you, and the first thought that leapt into my mind, was how pretty my kitchen and your dining room would look together...!!!
A (hard) job well done. Your take on decorating is always fresh and unique...no one can copy it, even if they try!!

Hope you had a great night with Shane and Allie and family. Tell them I said Hi!

Oh my! This is gorgeous! I see you decided to go without the frosted glass, I was curious to see what you'd do had you kept it.
I love the blue!
Excellent job, the place is so inviting!

Thanks for the compliments...i do appreciate them! It feels so good to know I am almost done...I still have two chairs to finish which will go into the two corners...and I need to varnish the china cupboard...and I agree...I like it better without the frosted glass...it gives me another spot to show off my other yard sale treasures!

Everything is gorgeous! I am a new fan of your sister and through her I found you. Again, a new fan! Your home is lovely and judging from the beautiful sentiments your sister said about you, I'm sure you are just as lovely as your home. It reflects you. Come and visit me if you get the chance.

Love,
Julie
